DIY Poison Ivy Fancy Dress Costume

My friend celebrated her 25th birthday this weekend and she decided on a fancy dress theme (not one of my favs), but i decided to go as poison ivy i looked everywhere for a costume and couldn't find anything that i liked.  Fancy dress costumes can be rather pricey or poor quality so decided to make it myself. My inspiration came from Poison Ivy- Uma Thurman costume.

For the look i used:
Once i began applying the leaves to the corset i underestimated how long this would take as all leaves needed to be facing the same direction, with the smaller leaves on the outside. With time and patience the costume turned out amazing, adding the finishing touches big eyelashes, red outline lips and a touch of highlighter i was ready to go. Towards the end of making this costume i found a tutorial on YouTube which helped with the finishing touches. Making the costume was much more cost effective as i had most of these items in and round my house plus it turned out amazing.
